July Favourites!

Hello wonderful people!

Today I have my July favourites!! At first I didn't think I had any favourites this month as I haven't been wearing anywhere near as much make-up on casual days, but I then remembered some very simple but crucial things for this summer month that I have been using pretty much non-stop.

From left to right: Batiste dry shampoo, Barry M silk nail polish, Lush lip scrub,
Nivea lip butter, Rimmel colour rush balm, Soap and glory glow all out.

Batiste Dry Shampoo: Clean and Classic Original 400ml
This shampoo has saved me from quite a few greasy hair disasters as it has been so hot here in England this month (I am as surprised as you are). The smell of this dry shampoo is really nice and clean smelling (as the name suggests) and does really good job of making your hair look as though its just been washed with a bit of volume added without having that white residue left over. I will constantly be repurchasing this over and over again. I bought this from boots for £4.99.

Barry M Silk Nail Polish: Mist
I love love love this shade of nail polish as it is a beautiful pastel blue which is absolutely perfect for this time of year. But because it has a silk finish, it also has a bit of shimmer to it which looks even more beautiful in direct sunlight. This chips after a couple of days which is average for Barry M nail polishes and you need two to three coats to get it opaque. I bought this from superdrug for £3.99.

Lush Lip Scrub: Bubblegum
This lip scrub I really didn't like at first because I thought it was just a bit too harsh on my lips but when it is used in conjunction with a lip butter or lip balm it does wonders. This stuff removes the dead skin from your lips and makes them feel a lot smoother. It is also made mostly of sugar so you can lick it off your lips and I really think it tastes like bubblegum, which is a really nice added bonus. This is a little pricey at £5.50 from Lush but it does go a long way as you only need a little bit at a time. To get the right amount I just press my finger into the scrub instead of trying to scoop some out as I found too much used can be too harsh.

Nivea Lip Butter: Raspberry Rose
I bought this in a desperate moment in February as I had such chapped lips that I was struggling to fall asleep as they were so sore. This is now a beauty gem of mine as it is a very moisturising lip product which keeps my lips in perfect condition, especially when used with the lip scrub mentioned above. But because I have been a bit dehydrated my lips have got slightly chapped but this has completely saved them. This also smells like raspberries which is really nice but slightly artificial smelling. This gem is £2.00 from Morrisons.

Rimmel Colour Rush Balm: Nudest
I love this lip crayon as it is quite moisturising and is really nice nude colour which gives your lips a bit of colour but also makes it look natural which is great for this season. These lip crayons well like vanilla which is quite nice as well. These do however have to be reapplied after an hour or so especially if you have eaten as they do wear off quite quickly. I got this for £5.99 from Superdrug.

Soap and Glory Glow all out
This highlighter is very subtle as it doesn't have any shimmer in it, instead it just has a (as the name suggests) glow! I love using this for a daily use because it is so natural and looks amazing when the sun hits your cheekbones with this on. It does have a slight pinky tone to it but it is not obvious at all. The packaging of this product has had some controversial reviews but I really like it and it does have a satisfying magnetic close so I feel it wouldn't fly open on its own accord. This is £11.00 from boots.

If you have any suggestions for any products you would like me to try out, just mention them in the comments below. Hope you guys enjoyed this post. All Rimmel products are two for £10 online at Superdrug.

Beauty Haul Part 3!

Hello wonderful people!!

So here I have the final part to this haul and can't wait to share it with you guys!

Description starts from left to right

Mad Nails: Nail Suede in Misty Rose
So Topshop was having a sale and so I had a little look and ended up buying a lot of nail polish/nail art. This being one of them. So in the box you get a very pale pink nail polish, pink suede (looks like pink fluff) and a brush to even out the suede across the nail. This could look either look like I've dipped my nails in fluff or it could look really unique in a really good way. I am very sceptical but for £2.00 from £5.00 its worth it.

Nail Rock: Nail Caviar
In this set you get a bright red nail polish with a little tub full of these tiny little red balls. I love this kind of look on nails especially when its just on an accent nail. Can not wait to use this! I also managed to get this from Topshop for £2.00 from RRP: £7.00.

Nail Rock: Texture Manicure
In this set you get a lovely pastel green with a tub of little pieces of what looks like shell which again I love the look of. This kind of design and colour is perfect for this season. I also got this for £2.00 from RRP: £7.00.

Mini Ciate Caviar Manicure duo
This is cheating slightly as I actually got this set free in the Marie Claire magazine where there was a range of 6 coloured sets to choose from but I did pay £2.50 (RRP: £3.90) so I feel I can include it in this haul. I chose a nude coloured pink with fine gold glitter in it with the pearls in similar colours. These colours are ivory queen and teardrop treasure. Such a bargain for £2.50, I really wish I got more.

2True pro Sequins glitter nail polish: Eva
This is beautiful shade of blue but the best thing about this nail polish is that it's jam-packed full of silver and blue glitter. I can't wait to test this out and have my nails gleaming in the sun! I believe this nail polish is slightly textured so if you're not a fan of that this might not be for you but personally I don't mind. I bought this for £4.00 at Superdrug.

Topshop Nails in Hop and Solar
Hop is another beautiful blue colour but a completely different shade of blue to other one. I'm not so good at describing colour shades but if you want to see for yourself, here is the link. This nail polish has very fine silver glitter so another great nail polish to wear when the sun is out. Topshop claims that this is fast drying and extra long wear so I will be looking forward to seeing if this is true. Solar is a duo chrome nail polish that is a gold/pink colour, however when I received it the gold colour in the bottle looks like a yellowly/green colour instead of a gold colour. I just hope this colour doesn't translate on to nails or in most lighting... we will have to see. I got these in a 2 for £9 deal but RRP is £6.00 each from Topshop.

Makeup Revolution Baked Mono Eyesadow: Astral
OMG!!! Makeup revolution ceases to amaze with their products and this is absolutely gorgeous! This is a light coloured purple with pink and silver veining. It translates to a glittery purple colour with a pink undertone that I can't wait to experiment with. Also because it is baked this product can be made more intense when used with a wet brush. Best of all this only costs £1.50 for 3.3g of product! Will definitely be buying more!

Lipsticks aren't exactly my favourite beauty product but I thought I would be a bit more open minded about them and try a few more out.

Makeup Revolution lipstick in sweetheart
Makeup Revolution Lipstick: Sweetheart
The first thing I noticed was that the packaging looks similar to the MUA lipsticks however with a few insignificant differences. The lipstick is a light pink colour that is quite sheer with a balm-like texture. The thing that really let's this product down was that the lid keeps falling off rather easily not making it ideal to sling into my handbag. There is also a cheap lipstick smell to it, but for £1.00 I can look past that. Next thing to do is to test the lasting power and experimentation with other lip products. I bought this from Superdrug.

MUA Intense Kisses Lipgloss: Quick Kiss
This is a coral pink colour that is quite opaque and best of all non-sticky. I hate having my hair sticking to my lips, so the fact that I found out these were non-sticky I slipped this one into my basket without a second thought. I can't wait to test this out and report back to you guys as I'm sure some of you feel the same way I do about sticky lipglosses and this could be an absolute god send, especially for the price of £2.00! I bought this from Superdrug but you can also get this from the MUA site too.

Rimmel Kate lipstick in shade 16

Rimmel Kate Lipstick: Shade 16
This is another coral pink colour except a bit more pink than coral. This is supposed to be non-matte and it is completely opaque. The packaging is very sleek and easy to sling in your handbag to use everyday. I bought this for £5.49 from Superdrug but there is a 2 for £10 across the Rimmel range if your interested to test this out yourself while paying a bit less for it.

Rimmel moisture renew in Piccadilly pink

Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lipstick: Piccadilly pink 150
The packaging that you see for this one is actually the old packaging but this doesn't bother me (I do prefer the new one though). This is a slightly darker pink with a lovely moisturising texture that I love. I also love the smell of these lipsticks as they smell slightly perfumed. I got this for just £1.50 from Fragrance Direct (RRP: £5.00) Could not find this shade in Boots or Superdrug.

MUA Complexion Primer Matte
I have heard good things about this face primer but when I went to pick this up from Superdrug I was surprised by how little product there was (15ml). This product however should be able to keep me looking matte all day and help my make-up stay put. I can't wait to put this to the test! I feel for the amount of product you get for the price of £4.00 by MUA's standards is a little bit more expensive than usual but this could an amazing product. Will have to wait and see...

I hope you guys enjoyed the last section of this haul! Please leave comments down below if you have tried any of these products as I am eager to know what you guys think.
